Opportunities to Serve

Sewing/Crafting
This group meets 2-9PM on the second Friday of each month and 9AM-1PM on the second Saturday. People from all over the community gather together to work on various sewing and craft projects. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. Our leaders are very skilled at sewing and other crafts and are always willing to teach anyone who wants to try something new. On Fridays the group shares a meal together.
Baby Quilts
On the third Thursday of each month a dedicated group gathers to assemble baby quilts. The quilts are divided up and distributed to a street mission in Spokane as well as a mission in Mexico. In December the group prepares lap quilts for the residents at Avalon Care Center.
Layettes
These kits, consisting of diapers, baby blankets, soap, bottles, socks, and newborn clothing, are assembled every month on the 3rd Monday. They are delivered to Othello Community Hospital to for new mothers in need of
Camp Prime-Time
Each summer in July, members of the congregation will give up their free time to help at this camp for special families with disabled or seriously ill children. Our talented folks assist with meal prep, clean-up, music and any other duties they are called upon to perform.
